So things have been really difficult lately, midterms, homework thats been piled up.. This song is definitely a source of strength for me.

Day Camp and such

So, I am now in the summer before my freshman year in college. Man, it feels almost surreal to think that this is my last summer as i know it. Next year, its going to be a whole new thing. I am trying to make the most of it though- Im trying to get to know my brother Nat, trying to tan before i get to college so that i'm not the palest thing there, and I am trying to improve my personality. Hopfully, when i write the summer reflection blog, i'll notice some change.

I really wished that i had pictures of the summer so far, it was pretty fun actually. So three notable things this month- Praise Night at David's Church... im actually shocked that I know so many people there.. or at least know their names. It was also fun seeing a couple music camp kids there =D. Day Camp has been pretty fun. Kids are a bit aggravating at times but otherwise its alright. And finally, we saw transformers. Needed more Megan Fox and a longer last fight scene... its like one hit and done. thats it.

ANYWAYS, so tired. Today was the fundraiser and now im exhausted. More soon.

June 1st

So, its 12:58AM (at the start of the blog) on June 1, 2009. High school is more or less over with. Monday, i have one "final", Tuesday and Wednesday I'm free to go do whatever, Thursday is Grad Rehearsal, Friday is Senior Luncheon, and then the Monday following is Graduation. In a few short days, I'm going into a whole new world and I have mixed emotions about that. 

For my one follower, I am going to go to college in the fall and I am kind of nervous about starting a new school. I have decided not to room with anyone I know and to go with a new person. I hope to start off college differently than how I started high school. To be perfectly honest, I've kindof isolated myself this year, keeping minimal contact with everyone, and not doing much outside of the (almost) bare minimum. I think I will start college with trying to look at the organizations there, and join a few, keep better ties with friends, and iono... we'll see...

I need to remember to check this more =P

May- a time of reflection for seniors

Well, its the month of May... AP exams next week, senior finals soon after, then graduation.... It seems like only yesterday, i was struggling with accelerated math in my freshmen class and now here i am, procrastinating like crazy trying to pull of the C in my physio class.

Its been a strange journey, to say the least, and as i start a new journey into college, i can only imagine what challenges come ahead. I do know that i can rely on these past few years as inspiration for the future.

Psalm 119:71 says "My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees." 

I have lost contact with people I have worked hard to build bonds with, I have made new friends, new brothers, new network of people to rely on and its been both sad and inspiring with our school christian club. Being one of three people present in the leadership is very discouraging and seeing as how everyone seems to be falling away from religion because of bad impressions or because of misconceptions that we have not bothered to clear up is very painful to see. I am guilty myself of not doing my best to try to help other people understand and it seems to be a push now to be more vocal about my faith. 

As for college, I have seen the decision bring many struggles to my life. Visiting a college in LA, i had to rush to make a flight to LA and all i was wearing was my Salvation Army uniform. Upon arriving in LA, I discovered that our luggage had been mishandled and lost somewhere in the not-so-friendly skies. To make a long story short, I had to wear that around town for the evening and it showed me what a dedicated group of christians can do. A group of christians can make an impact in so many people's lives- like the Salvation Army and many many other churches. Everywhere I went, someone recognized the uniform and thanked me of the help they received or a friend or family member received and I felt bad that I hadn't really done much. 

This made me think back to my life verse- John 15:13- "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends" I think that by friends, its not just people we go enjoy movies with, its not just the people we go to class with, its everyone around us. The mom on the train, the pedestrian on the street, the person in the elevator. We all need to do what we are called to do and spread the love of Jesus and to not the the struggles in life bring us down because the struggles should bring us closer to God. He is just waiting for us to reach out and he will pull us up. 

As I go to college, and as many other people start new phases of their lives, remember these two verses for they are very special and very key to life.

SIR'd

I just sent in my SIR for UC Davis... kind of in shock that im so close to college now.. heh I've always thought that I would go to Davis (especially when I thought the entire world consisted of Cal, UCLA, UCSD, and UCD)... or up until last year when I visited UCLA. Comparing these two schools, I think UCD is the better place for me after all. It doesn't feel as crowded as UCLA, there nice clean fresh air, its closer to home, and it will be a bigger challenge for me to adjust at Davis.

I think I wanted to go to SoCal because its easy there. Family, friends, familiarity with some places there, but I think I need a new change. I'm probably not going to know many people here at Davis, at least to begin with, and I can use this opportunity as sort of a fresh start.

So, now what? I think i'm going to try some changes- maybe try again at volleyball, make some new and interesting friends, be a better roommate, deffinitely sing more. I think I will try to make myself come up with a list of things I want to change in my life- at least in college. Work in progress... haha

Youth Councils 09

So basically, this weekend was youth councils and I think it kinda sucked compared to other years but it was also pretty interesting at some points. There was WAY TOO MUCH FOOOOOODDD things- caramel on the faces, banana on the feet, food, food, food, food, food, and food. WAY TOO MUCH! BUT I think it was a great time just to hang out relax and get to know the guys better. We had lots of time where we just hung out.

On Sunday, however, it was pretty amazing. Theres this thing called the "Everything Skit" and i've seen it a few times before but this time, for some reason, I just started crying and crying when i saw the part that gets exciting. In fact, im crying now thinking about it... The skit was very exciting and moving this time i saw it. Maybe it was the weekend building up, maybe it was because I really felt the calling this weekend, but whatever it was, I was just blown away when i saw this.

I hope this is not some high and that you guys can keep me accountable to this commitment to ministry. WOW alot there but yeah. Heres the skit

So I fractured my hand last week the day before I was supposed to lead worship and two days before I was supposed to go to the Chris Tomlin concert in SJ. I was pretty bummed out and was kinda struggling to get things to work out. I later realized that one of the songs in my set, The Heart of Worship, was the perfect song for that week. It made me remember that music is just one aspect of worship. There are many other ways to worship and we sometimes put too much emphasis on music worship in our lives. This past week has shown me many things about worship and how we can find many many ways to worship God and to share that worship with others.

We can worship God through prayer- At SFKUMC, I attend the Friday fellowship there and we try to spend at least 5 minutes each week praying after the bible study just to help us come back to God, end the night focusing on Him and what He has taught us and just asking Him for help and praising Him.

We can worship God through fellowship (and food)- On the way to the Chris Tomlin concert, Nathaniel and I had the chance to sit, eat, and talk with each other and share how we've been doing spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and many other ways. We could've spent that time listening to music without talking to each other, or talking about things not glorifying to God, or talking about worldly things only like college, work, summer plans, things that are not sinful but not glorifying either. It was an amazing time to get to sit and talk about our spiritual walks (as well as life, I admit) and just praise God with what has happened since we last seen each other.

We can worship God through shopping- Yes, a weird one I admit. A friend of mine and I were at Borders the other day and we were looking through the books hoping to find something to help us share our faith with three of our friends. We hope to give them a book to help them figure things out after our conversation in the near future..... I don't know how this one will turn out so more later.

And yes, we can worship God through music. Probably the one that has gotten me the most questions in these past few days. The Chris Tomlin concert was one of the many ways in which we can worship God through music. Chris Tomlin says it perfectly:

Hallelujah! We can listen to music praising God, we can sing our praises to God, we and make music to worship God, we can share song with others when praising God too. The most important thing about worship is not that we are thanking God for everything in our lives but that we are CHOOSING to SPEND THE TIME with God with an open and grateful heart ready to receive a message through the bible or through fellowship, ready to see a song in a whole new light, ready to be amazed, ready to be hugged, and ready for the great things that have been done, the great things being done now, and the great things to come from God.

America's Best Dance Crew

So recently, I've been getting frustrated with my TV because it's not getting channels clearly even tho its new so I decided to have it "re-scan". I was shocked to find that I now get MTV and TNT and a few other channels that I never got before.


Anyways, I was watching ABDC because everyone's been talking about it and i'm like yeah yeah Jabbawhatzits and Kaba Thingies until now.... SOOOOO I really liked Quest's performance because of their choreography. (And cuz they're asian but not only cuz of that). I especially liked the 2nd piece they did incorporating a piano into the piece making the music a part of the visual choreography and the main performance with the hip-hop moves was freaking good (I HELLLLLLA loved the tutting). I think my another favorite would have to be the table they made by leaning on each other.

As some of you guys know, I've been messing around with mixing music and minor choreography. I've recently wanted to try to use a masquerade feel in a composition. It is an interesting mix of ballet and modern in the Phantom of the Opera version of a masquerade choreography.

Well, iono... let's see what is in store for my choreography.. maybe i'll get to use it one day =P

No One's Unlovable

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. (1 Timothy 1:15-16)

My mom works with a group that goes to local prisons to share about God. One time I got to go with them. While I was there, I heard one of the prisoners say he thought of himself as "someone God no longer wanted." Then a member of my mom's group read him 1 Timothy 1:15-16, sharing God's mercy to "the worst of sinners." The prisoner accepted Jesus that day.

No matter how much or how badly people have sinned, God's love can still reach them. Even drug dealers. Even murderers. The worst person you can imagine can receive God's forgiveness by humbly asking for it.

There's no such thing as a person God no longer wants. There are only people who haven't accepted his love.

He Knows Your Name

This is a verse I'd like to share with my friends. It would show them how much they matter to God. God's not just some mighty ruler who looks down at earth and sees a bunch of nameless people running around. He knows each one of us by name.

God knows our troubles and our happiness. He made each one of us special, and he wants to have a personal relationship with each of us.

When I think of God that way, I realize that he loves me and will never leave me. And best of all, I have God's promise that he called me to come to him so I can have eternal life.

He Won't Leave You

I recently went through a month when I got really depressed. Even when I was with my friends, I felt like no one cared about me. I could barely get out of bed in the morning.

Somehow I had forgotten the truth of these verses. I needed someone to remind me, "Don't think that no one cares about you, because God does!" God still loved me, and nothing was going to change that.

God must really care for us if there isn't anything that can separate us from his love. Knowing I can always turn to him keeps me going during hard situations. He is even there when things in my life are fun and easy. He is there with me through the worst of times and the best of times.

1) Think of someone at school who's always getting in trouble. Imagine God looking right into that person's face and saying "I forgive you." Imagine doing the same thing yourself.

Azusa Pacific University

[Edit: I copied and pasted all my xanga entries into here =P]



Over this weekend, I had different things going on. A notable part of it was my acceptance to Azusa Pacific University, which I applied to because Mr. Chan suggested that I look into it. Azusa is a Christian university in Azusa, California in the San Gabriel Valley (basically north-east of LA). I have no idea what other acceptances are coming my way and I have no idea where I am meant to be yet but for now, I am seriously looking into Azusa. I'm looking at it for a chance for a different pace, a different environment, and a new experience.

As for Monday, Nat and I went to The Shops at Tanforan, pretty chill, went for food and random window shopping.. then we went over to Pacifica and then down Skyline back to the Sunset.. nothing much.


Since this is my first "real" entry, I was hoping to put something more in this but I can't find anything good. Oh, and for my small group, I'm going to start puting up old devotionals soon.. my next entry is for this week.

lol.. so its time for another random update which no one will read but will leave memories for me x]

CCCMIW 2008 (Choral) Music Camp~ Dominican University, San Rafael

IT WAS SOO MUCH FUN lol... it was the week of my birthday and i had a blast... we had stayed up soo late hanging out and playing games and messing with each other hahaha we sang some interesting songs (BWAAANNNAAAAAA) ahaha did some acts for the talent show... like my group with Psalm 139 and Letitia's group with None Like You, and Nathan's Group with the Skit (even tho its like the exact same people in each group haha) The milton incident was pretty scarry and funny haha and the blanket idea was pretty good worked well haha

DAY CAMP
is looooooooonnnnnnggggggg haha.... went to the beach yesterday.. had fun.... lol... got annoying when all the kids got whistles -__- haha

so thomas and jonathan has made me go the farthest on the nervous game -___- lol... so anyone wanna try me? haha jk jk

RAWR so i finally figured out why i do so much work all the time... ironing for others, staying super late to do paperwork, answer phones, help clean, run errands. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy it a lot, but the reason why i do this soooo excessively is because im trying to distract myself from what im really feeling.. and maybe just maybe this is a teenage phase, maybe its not, maybe its something higher up.. but i feel so empty. i feel like im drained of life and so i distract myself and fill myself with other peoples' lives. i am iono... whatever on another note, dance concert tomorrow and saturday.. 7:30, $8.... buy at door or at school on the catwalk

DAF

my DAF or Day AFTER Finals! WOOT lol

so my original plans were to go over to pleasanton to hang out with my friend after his finals but like i found out i had to go to two of my classes so i thought ok.. im going to get extra credit for one of them and i had to turn in a book to the other... ill be a good student and go get that taken care of... so.. i show up to my 4/5 a little late, which didnt matter cuz i didnt hafta go apparently so i go hang out with spellicy in the office until after reg and i go to my 6/7 class [we got to watch more of Moments.. lol.. i hella loved a couple of them like Trapped, Apologize, RALLY [of course] Sweet Escape (haha tim), and the Intermediate class (forgot what it was called) so there was an announcement that said "Ms Magnasay's TA's please come to the BOOK room during reg and it was after reg [plus i wasnt her TA] so i ignored it.. but then mod 8, i heard the 2nd announcement saying none of them showed up [of course] and teachers were on their own for making copies... so i decide to go help them and the dance studio doors are outside so i ran from the studio up the ramp-stair area cuz i didnt want to get soaked and i stopped running right in front of the SAO office but the cement there was like super smooth and waxed [or it feels waxed when wet] and i slipped cuz of the lack of traction hurting my hip and my shoulder and a muscle in my arm. so i stop by the nurse to get an ice pack for my hip and i go to the bookroom to see what in the world was going on... and i find out theres a foot high [literally] stack of papers that needed to be copied adding up to at least 3000 sheet of paper cuz i myself already opened 6 reams of 500 and then Mr Spellicy had done a bunch too...but yeah.... i spent 4 hours in there minus a few minutes delivering some of them cuz we ran out of room and a bathroom break and to check into my math class... so yeah... mr spellicy's machine was using the administration account and could only do so many but it was a bunch and belle came in a borrowed like 4 teacher codes but since it was the end of the semester, they were mostly used up.. to about like 50-200 left per teacher... and thenn i was the last one staying the 4 hours cuz my machine used the Math Department code [which ms magnasay has to replenish when she comes back] i finished a couple thousand copies with two folders left that had come in like 10 minutes before i left so i couldnt do them and my last stack of like 20 packets still coming out i couldnt look after cuz i had to go so i asked michelle to take them out when they were finished.. yay though.. i got hecka done lol... but i bet the machine wasnt happy... 4 hours of non-stop xeroxing hahaha

After that, i walked with Dani up to the K stop and her train came so we didnt talk that long i got to AAYBC as Diane was leaving so i got there just in time to get my jacket that Luke left for me [thanks Luke] so now all i need is my iPod charger from STEVE! lol but yeah.... came home and thats pretty much it....

Mesa Trip

Hey guys, so its a little late, but i wanted to write about my mesa trip haha

so where to start? I guess the saturday before we left, when i went to rehersal, it was nice, got to test my ppt and then went kettling afterwards.. fast forward to wednesday, rehersal, got there late but yeah, thurday, rehersal, got there earlier lol.. kinda hung out, had a meeting later on lol... afterwards, we [me and the toys] went to my house to pick up my luggage and we went to in-n-out for dinner haha YUM! lol.. loren had a 3x3 which is like wow thats a big burger haha.. lessee went to toys house to eat lol.. i went to sleep early since everyone was upstairs packing and what not so i was well rested the next day x] morning, we woke up, loren actually managed to wake me up by knocking on the door lol.. i seem to wake up easier when im not at home took a shower, then went to pack a few things, shirt, book [i had done some hw earlier] and we played Wii haha i love the Wii its so fun x] umm what else.. had krispie kreams for breakfast... originally was going to eat only one but then they were going to throw out the box and im like noo thats so wasteful so i ate one or two more i dont quite remember.... lol.. took forever packing the car but finally got on our way.

Lol... Major Keilah drove first and we passed Major Ron's car because they "were going too slow" we played cards in the car for a while but eventually fell asleep haha... lunch, we stopped at in-n-out again and then i think Luke drove.. went through a bunch more cities, slept through some of them, looooooooooooooong drive haha and stopped for a bit to get gas lol.. then continued with luke driving and got there a bit before everyone else did lol.. since we didnt have dinner, we stopped by carls jr. lol... enough of that tho lol.. its was a looooong 13 hours haha ooh we played more cards =D

Saturday, woke up, took a shower, went to the corps to eat lunch, then had rehersal, i helped Major Jones with stuff around the Corps, then went bowling with the local youth, dinner, fellowship, then returned to billets. Bowling was fun... we ended up not going by the names and just bowled haha... IRON everyones shirt when we got back to the room later at night

Sunday, woke up, did the assembly lol... Singing to begin with lol.. got to sing with everyone, then went over the verse of the week, lol.. had everyone repeat it a billion times, and then Luke prayed. Christina did the object lesson and Amelia did the offering at the end. Service, we had the worship set led by Chris, Brandon's scripture reading, Major Ron's prayer and Nikole's testimony. Then Major Keilah gave the sermon and we did the special song. Afterwards, we had lunch, monday practice except me, darren, and Victor and Karen went out to the local mall to hang out for a little while. We came back and had dinner at the Major [Jones] house, played UNO, and then went out to South Mountain overlooking Phoenix. It was SO amazing lol... like at first i didnt want to go, but since it looked like i was the only one who wanted to stay, i decided to go follow and then i got there and [after the car sick thing] was like "WOAH! this is AMAZING" in my head of course

Monday, woke up later for brunch and then went to Old Town Scottsdale.. had fun walking around lol... came back to the mesa area and went back to the mall mentioned on sunday... stayed up REALLY LATE that night until like 5 or 5:30 but going to back track first... we had games until like 10:30 and food, got Major Jones to do the DDR with me lol After that, we had some stuff going on from 10:45ish to midnight, counted down and then got set up for the concerts lol..SO fun... came back to the hall, ate more tacos, and then back to the rooms lol... played a game of bang, everyone ganged up on me so i got to sleep early =[ didnt get to play much tho but oh well, i was less tired Tuesday, woke up when the Toys were leaving, helped them bring some stuff out, couldnt sleep, took a shower, tried to figure out what to wear, but couldnt so i eventually just picked some stuff lol... went to the outlet malls, saw the Toys again, forgot to get my pants that i left in their car, and then later on, got to the airport, long lines everywhere, but then later at the gate, we had to get seats... finally like 15 minutes before the plane was closing its doors, i got a seat and had a nice ride, did some more hw, and came back with some minor turbulence. Got dropped off by Eunice's mom... lol... that reminds me.. Steve still has my charger..... but yeah, basically my trip =]

btw lol... i am going to call loren "Silly Loren" lol... x] inside jokes are awesome

recent stuff

So....

Friday, the 14th
Morning, I was going to school and waiting at the bus stop in chinatown when this lady comes up to me and asks me to read something in english for her so im like sure why not, its a nice thing to do so it turns out that another lady is lost and doesnt know who she is and they wanted me to read her name tag so that she can find her way home. Well, i look at the address and see that its the address for Silvercrest, the Salvation Army senior residence thingy so im like omg and i tell her that i'll take her home. [What a coincidence!] Well anyways, while on the bus, i try to find the number for Silvercrest to tell them what happened in case everyones looking for her but i cant find the number on 411 and suddenly, i remember that my friends mom works for Silvercrest so im like OOOH i'll call her! so yeah stuff happens and we meet up with another lady that works there too. but thats soo cool, the lady that was lost turns out to be Jovina's GRANDMOTHER! WHOAH! What a twist! lol [It will turn out later that a bunch of people found out what i did and im like O_O NOO.. lol.. people dont need to know! -__- so i guess now you guys know how i met jovina's grandmother... or not lol.. i kno few people actually read my xanga..]

I get to school missing my 4/5 class, but Ms. Melvin understands cuz my friends mom drove me to school to explain to my teacher what happened.... so yeah... WINTERFAIRE was that day too! IT WAS SO FUN! lol... not counting the classes i still had to go to... well.. dance was still fun tho i couldnt get the timing exact cuz now theres no mirror.... hahha

Winterball was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun like beyond fun lol.. we had dinner with a group of people at this place called Basil Pie and we both split two Lamb Skewers and a bowl/plate type thing of Pad Thai it was so good lol.. then we got to the place like 40 minutes too early so we're talking to each other and yeahh... Pictures when we got in... SOOOO MUCH MONEY lol... i feel so chinese... i calculated which package was cheaper per individual picture -__- haha so yeah... later on, we all got onto the dance floor, and i finally convinced my date to dance.. initially she wanted to just watch everyone dance and im like no.. dance once.. thats why they call this a dance lol.. well technically winterball but yeah lol... FUN! haha but DANG lol.... some of these people looked like they werent dancing lol.. lets just say that... got two mugs at the end.. lol... like the asian i am, i had to get as much free stuff as possible XD and yeahh

SATURDAY.... woke up kinda late, ate, played a little DS, then i went down to AAYBC for the Christmas Party thing and i think it went pretty well....

Sunday... after church, i went shopping to get a thick jacket and then i went to AAYBC again to hang out with everyone lol.... stayed out soo late tho.. lol.. but fun

Monday... TOOK A MUCH DESERVED REST AFTER A SEMESTER [pretty much]

Tuesday, went kettling with Loren, Lauren, Eunice and Nikole and i think we did decent.. almost 150... then we all went out to see enchanted with diane too lol... YAY for CHICK FLICKS! or i dont kno if that one counts but yay in general i guess haha

Wednesday.... Went to the hospital to volunteer again lol... stayed pretty late but i like it lol.. i think its fun x]

Month Update

so school is pretty much a month in and its been quite a month to say the least...

Homework has been piling up on me with my two APs and a jump ahead course (theres prolly a more appropriate term for this but i cant think of it right now) i havent slept on a school night (just 5 hour or less naps.. going as low as 2 hours) uhh lol... sleepy haha.... uhhh something about... OOH i remember.. i got elected co-PR for agape and i excited to make agape known this year...

SEE YOU AT THE POLE is Wed, Sept 26th where schools internationally are going to pray at their 7:00AM locally making continual prayer for 24 hours. (lol.. reminds me of the 24/7 prayer thing) anyways i hope people will go to theirs of start one x]

oh no! school has started

hey folks, school has started, and i have decided to take a break and go on xanga to update you guys

Monday: showed up at school to get my "Ask ME" stickers so that freshmen kno that they can ask me for directions and i wont send them to the pool on the roof or to a broom closet in the basement of the academics building. i got 12 different requests for directions and i was constantly going back and forth between the main building and the bungalows due to the closure of the 1st floor, i think almost everyone has a bungalow class room for at least one of their classes.... ANYWAYS, not much happened, after school, i went to the agape planning meeting and we had an overview of what was discussed during the summer and i got more people to sign the welcome letter to the principal and i think we're going to give it to him tomorrow hehe uhmm we had guys and girls bonding/small groups today and we're going to start some accountability program between the leaders and eventually start one school wide. so after that i went with dani to give the letter to the principal but he wasnt there cuz he alread left and we had to carry over 25 lbs of books up the hill 1 kilometer to get to the bus but we took a break outside the church on eucalyptus.. not the one on 19th ave tho the one thats part of the elementary school. uhmm thats about it....

Tuesday: same thing, i had the ask me sticker, went to marine science to do the lab, went to my freshmen reg today to explain more stuff lol.... i also met that new CSF lady trish and told her that she didnt need to sign every single resource card and that she could stamp the cards so i went to the library and got some stamps for her but yeah that took up the entire free mod that i had but yeah =] umm got out of english a few minutes early and then after school i walked dani up to the K stop again... i didnt have any books so i took three of her books so that she didnt hafta carry so much... GOSH we hafta carry SO much stuff =[ lucky for me, my teachers say leave them at home... cant wait to get lockers..... came home, then went to the hospital to visit a family friend... wow hes in the hospital that i volunteer for so i just knew where everything was.... but yeah uhmm spent this evening doing my psych and US homework.. thats about it...

so ok OMGoodness, i just realized that this entire summer, whenever i played volleyball, i popped my leg up when i bumped o_O how odd is that? i mean yeah, i do everything with a hint of girly but like wow.. ok whatever haha

June... school ended.. day camp started, hospital stuph started... nothing much that i can remember happening

WOOOOOOT CHRIS TOMLIN CONCERT

soo lets start with a recap of my weekend!

Friday:
So i woke up and went to the hospital to open up my station for the crew coming in (who were late too) and when they get settled in, i leave to get on the bus to get to bart. When i get to bart, i wait a little while, and i get onto the Pittsburg train to WC. I meet up with dave, and we take the 104 to CPK to meet up with shaina and gloria, after we eat, we go to century to watch I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and after that, we go to Target and Leslie picks up my stuff.... we go over to fuddruckers to eat some ice cream and then we get on the express bus to go down to dublin bart. We meet up with dave's friend George and we wait for another friend of his named Joseph i think lol.. not sure b/c they kept calling him Jojo so yah lol... anyways, we get to the concert and we pick up our wrist bands and jojo goes to costco to get food for us and we go in kinda late, but its ok... we were like 10 yards back so we were like super close to the stage (if it was even that far) OMGOSH CHRIS TOMLIN! lol.. so after i get a poster and a tshirt and chris tomlin freakin comes out to where we are and im like OMG and i get him to sign my capo and the poster!! (btw does anyone kno where i can get like a display box for my capo? lol...) so yeah after the concert, i get dropped off and i get on the 121 bus for like 1hr and a half (which surprisingly is faster than bart) and i get picked up by my sister

*sleep*

Saturday:
wake up, drink some juice, talk on the phone randomly to dave, and i fall asleep again and then i wake up and i get to go driving for like an hour and we come back and then we go driving down to dublin from walnut creek again so yippee lol i drove hecka actually.. i would guess 40+ miles lol.. i dont kno how big walnut creek is in miles so it could even go up to like 50+ miles but thats not the point of this entry.. so anyways, i get some freeway time and OMG at one point, im going near 80mph and the people in the slow lane are passing me! wuzzup with that! lol... yeah afterwards, i bart home and i go home =]

Church, and i go buy a frame for my chris tomlin concert poster yeahh lol... too tired to go into detail about today x]

more and more, i am hearing a call to ministry... i now notice two classes where i have tried to bring in religion to the people. First there was college and career where i was like " something something christianity something something god something something jesus something something" in my journal, then i go speak about a minister and now in english, we are supposed to act out some lines about a (courtroom) judge and salvation (a line from Merchant of Venice) so i draw clouds and put a cross in it and a halo and im an "angel" and all that stuff ok.. so i am trying to sleep before 12 now so i hafta go to sleep haha

wait.. ok... so in the back of my mind, i have come to realize i dont like lowell....much.... i actually went and vented to people and i started research on private christian schools (which i realize we cant afford and will probably never be able to go to one.... perhaps Biola when college comes around (assuming i dont decide to become a pastor and go to Crestmont) so yeahh) lol.... i like Alma Heights... or their website at least haha it looks interesting, though its such a commute to go to Pacifica lol.... maybe i can live with the Toys haha just kidding... it looks like im going to stay at lowell... i kno i have work to do at agape... we as a group arent in the greatest place at the moment and i think all of us leaders need to work together to bring agape into shape next year so that we can make a difference at lowell and hopefully help all our members grow spiritually... which reminds me... thats kinda why i want to go to a Christian School/Academy (lol.. i think academy is a better sounding word than school haha) because i feel it will help me grow much more spiritually

im on the roads!

IM ON THE ROADS!
lol.. if you dont wanna get run over WATCH OUT! haha

oh my goodness... i started driving today and i was like O_O

i have a bunch to work on like driving speed... i dont drive fast enough on city streets and i go like 80 on the freeway, but it wasnt totally my fault... i was following people in the left lane hehe
i also need to use my mirrors more... i look over my shoulder whenever i change lanes and i dont use my mirrors which would have helped.... and i dont turn my wheel enough so =P lol.... next lesson i can work on it hehe

yesterday was brother/sister appreciation night and it was hecka fun! candle lit dinner, gifts, ice cream, movies made by brothers and sisters for each other omgosh.. i love the ninja bands... and mandy made mine! haha.. it totally fits me... its like clouds and a cross shining through them

april 16 was the start of spring spirit week... i didnt wear pajamas that day

thursday was sports hero day, and natually, i went as #14 CShinn lol too bad i couldnt borrow his jersey but yeahh
friday was red and white day i wore red and white..
saturday hung out with kevin
sunday went to the Adult Rehabilitation Center, then to CT to deliver the children's object lesson, then to AAC to hang out with everyone lol... then after we went to harbor light corp for another service.... THEN OH MY GOODNESS! we went to red robin's and i got stuffed off of bottomless everythings
monday, school..... nuff said.. OMG! Jericho must fall!

heyys heyy heres another quick update saturday i went down to aac to help set up for the easter thing, then i went to chinatown for col. yee's speech thing sunday, went to chinatown, then went home and did last minute stuff lol monday, swimming, school had a blackout, omg....30 minutes away from being dismissed for the day... 30! lol, worship practice at timmys house, fingers dont hurt as much now, so if i dont play tomorrow, i think ill be fine for wed gosh.. im like the fattest anorexic person in the world... ok... so im not anorexic but like yeah.... today i ate one chicken wrap and one turkey wrap.... thats it... O_O... one at 4 and one at 6 PM so its like whoa... still trying to choreograph lol.. getting there tho well, its late, ill update again some time

Monday Update

OK, hes my monday update which includes much more than monday but yeah

FIRST! VOLLEYBALL! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN A CCU TEAM VOLLEYBALL THING, PLEASE TELL ME BY WEDNESDAY/ THURSDAY BEFORE 10 AM LOL... AND I DONT GO ONLINE THAT EARLY SO ON THURS YOULL HAFTA CALL ME

Saturday Update: LOL so we didnt go run walking nor did we go out for ice cream but we had fun eating avocados and salt and vinegar chips and yeah hahaha... the opposite of what was planned

Sunday, went to Chinatown Corp, had sunday school then had to go upstairs and get into our costumes =[ lol... i couldnt find anything that went with the green cloak thingy so i had to wear this yellow thing o_O anyways, i was Jesus "riding" a "donkey" into the city and the people in front of me were putting palm leaves and clothing on the floor in front of me and the Major Mui told the story of plam sunday and the entry into Jerusalem. THEN we got out, changed, put stuff away and ran over to Asian American Yerba Buena Corp... (lol...i like Asian American Corp or AAC better cuz its shorter but yeah..lol... thats just my laziness talking...) and we caught the end of service. I actually came to get people to play volleyball but i only have 5 people total so it doesnt look like we're gonna get a team this year *tear* lol... o wells, next year, we will kno about this and plan better (well, i did pretty well since i only thought of it like a little more that a few days ago) ok... so yeah... i was talking to Christina about joining and she dragged me across the street to Whole Foods to get lunch and she ended up buying me a pastrami sandwich (THANKS! x]) so we went back to the corp, and she had a meeting so i ate with Darren who i need to remember to email later.... ANYWAYS i had fun just chatting and stuph... lol...(yes..if you havent noticed, i prefer stuph to stuff and sulphur to sulfur lol...i think i actually wrote sulphur on a chem test or two haha) so loren boy (haha...that was funny... loren boy toy) and luke were jammin in the chapel / room that opens up and becomes a multi purpose hall? so i was listening to that for a while, then when darren left, i went to talk to Victor about the name tags cuz we wanted to make some but no one at our corp knew where to order them (actually major mui may have known be he was always too busy to ask when we remembered the name tags) so yeah so we found Majors Toy and a group of other people so we asked them ( mr major toy and mrs major toy) and yeah.... they were eating and i was sitting, i took a slice of some cake eventually and they called loren boy (hee hee that gonna be stuck in my head whenever i see him now haha) over to eat his sandwich and yeah.... everyone started talking and moving and i kinda got not talked to cuz everyone else was busy so i went over to the chapel part with the hardwood imitation floor that looks really nice and i laid down and was staring at the interesting ceiling and i guess i dozed off so everyone was getting ready to go and luke walked by and yelled hey tucson so i woke up and was like huh?? so then we all shuffled people to balance the cars and i was with lauren girl and loren boy (ok wait..i totally just realized what TOYlet was... like i got it was a play on toilet but i didnt get why LET cuz theres TOYmom and TOYdad and TOYlet but i didnt get the let until now... im assuming its like piglet or something haha so two meanings.... a play on words and TOYlet since loren boy (wow..thats like a subconsious typing) is the youngest of the 3 toy brothers lol.. now thats left is to figure out chris' xanga meaning lol) ANYWAYS, we raced out of the corp... (not really racing but yeah...added effect haha) and we looped around cuz lauren girl forgot her stuff then we went to my house so i could change and we went to the toy house (lol... toy's house? both work right?) and we sat and chatted for a while then we got a game out which i dont get (gawsh... all these games haha that i have never heard of) so the after that stuff happened i helped squeeze limes with loren boy lol... he did most of the work, i just squeezed the smaller pieces and rolled and cut some of the limes (YEAH! ROLL the limes putting a LITTLE pressure to get the juices flowing.. the same goes for lemons (iono about oranges)) so then helped with stuff then went and ate after walking around and throwing like a girl >_< so we played BANG and after i died, i went to play the piano but i didnt get to finish which was fine since i play that song too much anyways and then i did a sudoku and i was clocked at Jet Speed? lol... iono.. i guess thats good AND i didnt need to do any noted in the boxes =] so yeah, then i left =[ lol.. it was only 10 haha

MONDAY! lol..FINALLY so i went to the hospital again, had to leave early but i was gonna go back but then i didnt so i left an expensive bar of chocolate at the hospital which i must go claim haha so yeah had lunch with some people from england and then went shopping lol... wow.... today was much more boring haha

WELL! it took me a while to type ALLL of this since im listening to my iPod and talking on aim x]

ok.... gonna stop xanga-ing for the night (omgawsh how can people be up at like 5 AM? *ahem* you kno who you are haha.. ok ... i admit i have gone to bed at 6 AM and 7 AM lol... but thats only once for each case)

Hey guys, since i have spring break to do this, i was thinking of all the unshared pictures i have so im gonna start recent to non-recent with buddy group outings from fellowship BUT im at home right now and i have dial up so ill hafta wait until i get to school or somewhere with faster inet tee hee lol wow..whats with me and typing weird not understandable sentences

ANYWAYS yesterday, we did an IBS on Mark 9 1-13 (which i read earlier in the month for my edification (lol...lets hope im using my new vocabulary right hahahaha gawsh im such a lowell student)

earlier in the day, i went to volunteer at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital which was so fun haha

OH WAIT I GOTTA REMEMBER YAY... ELECTIONS COMING UP!

ok.. so its getting late (11:40 AM) and i gotta ready for MAJOR HANGOUT TIME! lol..were gonna rent a movie, then go out for a run, then eat ice cream, then who knos..more movies maybe haha its gonna be fun

FUN FUN day

so i went to visit AAYBC and it was hecksa fun! i got there before eunice (she was late) and their sunday school was working on Mark 8. So after that, we went for holiness meeting and had lots of fun then came lunch! they ordered food which is weird since im used to "home" cooked food for lunch. Afterwards, we had fellowship then we went to the Major Toy's house where we had so much fun... we played some weird game that didnt quite make sense to me but it was fun most of the time.. though it got really long and i wanted it to end so i gave Sam all my cards so that he could win haha yeahhh that took up most of the time x]

Buddy Group Outing tee hee

so after school, i walked dani to the k then i went home, added a cd that i borrowed from franklin but forgot to listen to so i packed that and my N64 controller (i kno...i still have one) and mario tennis and went out....i was down the hill and i realized i forgot my money so i had to turn around and go back and then went back again so i got on all the muni and finally got to judah and 19th and i walked to irving and i couldnt figure out which side it was on but i was on the right side and went to the wrong side and came back after calling andrea heh

so i was the first one there =] then every started coming in, they werent that far behind us so we got our dinners orders pretty quick....er...after that long deciding period so after dinner, we went to starbucks and then walked to dom's car =] and we all went to andrea's house which wasnt that far (thank goodness since we were crammed into the car with me on the floor) so yeh we played mario kart first, then mandy started cranium so we all abandoned the N64 and played cranium... franklins team won once and we won once. then we had ice cream (thanks dom) and we talked with each other for a little while and andrea didnt want all that ice cream so i took a huuuuge spoonful and got it crammed into my mouth and they took a picture of it haha so yeah lol...they were leaving while i was eating so i had to hurry to cram it all down..it was so funny

so i ran with my shoes half on and stuff to catch up with them and we went to tiff's house were we all got rides home with different people

elections are coming up and i cant decide whether i should stay as running for class officer or if i should run for SBC =] (im pretty sure theres SOMETHING im allowed to run for.... maybe club coordinator? dunno yet but yeh..look out lowell, here i come haha

omg...im so indecisive..i havent started choreographing yet cuz i cant decide if i want to use Escape - Enrique Iglesias (name? lol..too lazy to check) or Love Stoned by JT

and should i go play volleyball with cumberland or should i play for sunset?

lol...ok... so lets see, another train breakdownage and i was late AGAIN to my first class, then i went to TA, reg, driver's ed (SO boring), chinese (SO confused), band, chem...kinda...lol.. i left in the middle of class cuz i didnt wanna stay there (guitar lady), geo... kinda boring i just wanna take the test for the chapter and not show up until the next chapter starts, and then english... i didnt kno we had hw...rawr...

yarr... coming home was a complete blur...i remember falling asleep and almost hitting my head on the metro....a LOT.. then i came home....took a nap, set my alarm clock tho so that i would wake up.... woke up an hour later than the alarm... then did some hw.... bsed it all but yeh

oooh.. i talked to cynthia today x] that was fun.... we dont talk much anymore since we dont have chem together =[ i blame band! i wouldve been in swett's class and i wouldve had lunch together with everyone! RAWR but i like my chem class...we get out up to 2 mods early =]

ok...JL and CS is still OH DANG (only one person would get that ) loll...i like blues hair still...
speaking of hair, i want to change mine.... i asked some people how i looked and they seem to call me a FOB (omg...i cant even speak chinese) so maybe i should make my hair fobby or short and spiky...
wait..ok...i kno enough chinese to work in a hospital and get people to where they need to go but other than that... poor chinese skills

wait...ok... thats crazy! i speak english, chinese, japanese, and spanish at the hospital and im not fluent in any of those (english excepted of course)

so as much as i want to write some backlogged blogs, i have too much running through my mind to make a proper entry so heres what i wrote to my self and ill elaborate this one for now

volleyball duude (11:59:48 PM): sitting here thinking about this makes me think of how fast life comes at you..its like crazy for me to sit here and think how is it possible that we have time to socialize with time moving so fast? how is it possible to find time to get this attached and hanging out seems like it will last forever but the memories seem like they happen in less than a second and what will life be like next year when the seniors are gone..what will happen when the juniors are gone and i am a senior....how can i think of being a senior?! im only a sophomore and yet... im already a sophomore....

ok so like OMG im going to miss all you seniors and juniors when you go to college! i only have a couple months left before i wont be able to see them as often! especially all of you guys who give me advice or listen to me complain about everything (like that except...haha i was complaining to kris) gosh! they cant leave!

LENT

so its lent now (ash wednesday!) and im up again doing nothing..i seriously need to start sleeping by 12 i finish my hw in like 15 minutes then i sit here doing nothing but facebooking, myspacing, and xangaing...
so, its that time again where im a night owl and i sleep during the day..it usually doesnt happen until the end of each semester... (does that mean ill be awake on the last trimester? haha)

OMG im so blargh.. i cant think straight (er strait er...yeahh)

wait ok...this is a rare online confession that people rarely get: im in like with a senior =] but they will prolly never kno

its like oh dang! haha (only one person would get that)
ok...yeah...im way too sleepy to do anything that makes sense and prolly why i typed that confession so im gonna sleep now

a tube of toothpaste

ok so like i just got back from all city and im soo tired haha well, lets start with yesterday

Morning/Afternoon: School stuph

then i had all city rehearsal and i was stuck at school until 7 it went pretty well, then i went to daly city to hang with the cpcc people

then today, i had to get up hecksa early to go to rehearsal and blah blah, performance at night was foreaking awesome

lol... considering ive played percussion for like 4 months, never touched cymbals, and really bad with cut time, i did pretty well haha i had a load of fun and i finally heard an orchestra and tell what theyre playing. then we had the all city chamber choir and concert chorus (er...something like that..the two singing groups) they they were great haha.. i could actually hear john sing like i could pick out his voice from the rest of the singers, though this only happened once but john has a great voice so i didnt care lol...i think i could pick out his voice because i kno what he sounds like lol...im sure other people could pick out other people's voices if they kno them but yeah lol..

WOOH go lowell! haha

omgosh..soo many sota people! it was 28 to 18 in the festival band (HS) and then there was like 3 lincoln people and 2 people from wash (lol...this is from memory so i might be wrong) but yeahhhh lol

lol..its not that i dont like mr ray....but it seems like he doesnt like me even tho he doesnt kno me... and tennis...c'mon... we already did that even he said his class just did it! isnt there anything else we can do? volleyball, swim, pie eating, yoga, dancing?

and o em gee i finally ordered it to those who kno what i wanted to get haha. OH DANG! lol

so im like starting to shut down to the world and like trying to repel everyone but iono i cant quite help it... i just feel mad kind of.. that there isnt some easier way to express how we feel to others so yeah

English- I was so not expecting to do anything so i totally bsed my essay..im failing that fasho cuz like i didnt even follow the prompt.....

Chinese - i bsed this one too and got a 91% YAY so combined with my 79% i have some kind of b i think...lol..lowell students you figure it out XD

Chemistry - i guessed on like half...expect a D/C

Friday, conditioning for volleyball uhh not much to say about that
then i went to fellowship (i was already sore by then) and we had fun, did stuff gift exchange, food, cake, not in that order but yeah

Saturday, felt really sore and took it easy
Sunday, BAPTISM and Chime Performance and stuff like that, served lunch, went bell ringing, took a nap, went caroling WOOH i played my clarinet for the different places which when includes walking, took 2 hours!

MONDAY, MERRY CHRISTMAS lol...christmas dinner with family and extended family
Tuesday, anita's party thingy lol...lesse i got there, got starbucks, sat around did nothing found some people, sat and talked ANITA FINALLY GOT THERE AFTER A HECKA LONG TIME then ALLICIA got there later and we had cake and anita got caked!! x] much much later, after standing and talking, me, neilson, jenny, and wendy left. me neilson and wendy went to stones but neilson didnt get off the m so *shakes fist* so we walk around aeropostale didnt have my polo so we left ae had it but it was twice the price so im like nah plus the line was hecka long so i got sushi, then we went back to meet up with them at the arcade near century and i went shopping with allicia then came home WOOH fun x]

so here i am some other stuff happened after i came home which i dont want to go into so yeah
